LRTimelapse 6 – public beta released and my video with the new features!

With the public beta version of LRTimelapse 6 you can already try out the new features of the new Version and give me feedback in the LRTimelapse Forum.

The last few months have been very busy. I have finished a new major version of LRTimelapse – the first major upgrade after 4 years and therefore also a paid upgrade.

I have been working on LRTimelapse 6 for the last years in parallel to the updates for LRTimelapse 5, but of course there is a “mountain of work” just before the release, where I can hardly think about anything else.

Normally such major upgrades come about every 2 years, but 2 years ago the Corona pandemic had just started and therefore I decided to make the last major upgrade free of charge and mark it as Version 5.5. I didn’t want to impose a paid upgrade on the creatives who had lost a lot of business at that time.

But now the time has finally come, LRTimelapse 6 is now available in its 5th beta version and has already been extensively tested by some users on their systems. I expect to be able to release the final version 6.0 soon.

LRTimelapse 6 is, as I said, the first paid upgrade in 4 years. I have kept the prices constant and as always there are discounted upgrades and the crossgrade for owners of a previous version.

Anyone who bought their LRT 5 license on or after 01.10.2021 can use LRTimelapse 6 directly with it. Any LRT 6 License also works with Version 5.8. You can already buy the LRT 6 Licenses and upgrades in the LRTimelapse Shop.

Otherwise, there is still the Free version that you can use for testing.

I would like to invite you to watch my video with the new features and afterwards test the new version yourself and give me feedback in the forum.

Here are the most important new features that I showed in the video above:

  • Major performance improvements, e.g. when loading sequences
  • Native Apple Silicon Version: Apple users who have one of the new M1 Macs with ARM processor (Silicon) now benefit from an additional speed advantage through the Native Version
  • Integrated editor for direct editing of keyframes in LRTimelapse
  • Integrated export and rendering
  • Render presets
  • Additions to the long-term filters
  • Batch processes are now displayed individually and can also be terminated individually.
  • …and much more!

I hope you like the new version and I look forward to your feedback in the beta forum!

Thanks a lot,
Gunther
