Basic Tutorials

These are the LRTimelapse Basic Tutorials. From importing and organizing your timelapse sequences, the Visual Workflow, direct Editing and Rendering in LRTimelapse, Visual Deflicker, Editing and Video Export via Lightroom until the editing of so called “Holy Grail” Day-to-Night transitions.

Older Tutorials basically also work for LRTimelapse 6. I’ve explained the changes in the new version below, but would recommend that you watch the Basic Tutorial first, if you are new to LRTimelapse.

Tutorial about using the LRTimelapse importer to import from a memorycard, split and clean up the imported files into timelapse sequences.

LRTimelapse – Internal Workflow (without Lightroom)

In this tutorial I show how to use LRTimelapse’s internal workflow without Lightroom. You’ll learn how to edit keyframes directly in LRTimelapse, how to calculate all transitions, do the visual deflicker and export and render directly from within LRTimelapse. I’d also explain why working with Lightroom is the recommended approach, which advantages that has and why it makes sense to combine both approaches.

LRTimelapse – Holy Grail Tutorial

This tutorial explains how to process footage in LRTimelapse, that was recorded using the “Holy Grail”-Technique, where you change the camera settings while shooting in order to capture day to night and night to day transitions.
