LRTimelapse 6.5.5 released

Hey guys,

I’ve just released LRTimelapse 6.5.5 which brings some improvements and fixes.

This is new in 6.5.5

  • Feature: direct render support for jpg file with extension “.jpeg”
  • Feature: Added support for NEFX files (Nikon Pixel-Shift Raw files).
  • Improvement: Increased compatibility for playback on Mac Quicktime and Mac video preview on H.265, Prores and DNxHR. H.264 might still play back with a wrong gamma on Quicktime. Please consider using a decent player like IINA.
  • Improvement: Changed the text in the licensing dialog for unlicensed users.
  • Improvement: Renamed Masks Version labels in Settings
  • Improvement: Error handling when writing XMP Data into JPGs.
  • Fix: When LRTimelapse detected future timestamps and offered to fix them, the shift timestamps dialog would not come up.
  • Fix: Minor deflicker rework
  • Fix: When only one keyframe was set and this had a crop applied, the crop would get a wrong transition (introduced in 6.5.4)
  • Fix: When no Exif Data existed for a sequence and the user used the Keyframes Wizard and selected “Holy Grail” sequence and not tagged the Aperture, every image would get a 3* Holy Grail Keyframe.
  • Fix: When popping out the preview, the workflow toolbar would not immediately disappear in the main window
  • Fix: Batch deflicker wouldn’t set the visual Previews completed status correctly.
  • Fix: On some high performance Mac Silicon machines Visual Preview creation could have stalled.
  • Fix: Plausibility check for filenames didn’t consider that Unicode characters are supported in filenames since a while

Thanks to anyone who contributed to the beta test by using the beta and providing feedback in the beta forum.

The update to 6.5.5 should happen automatically via the auto updater, if not, you can download it from the download page and install manually.

Thanks and have a great time,
Gunther
